Helen’s Retirement Fundraise
Mrs. Helen Lui, our Acting Executive Director and first-ever Centre Head, has been instrumental in the development of services and overall growth of Maggie’s Centre since joining us in April 2009. It is with sadness that we announce she will be retiring from her position as of 1 April, 2022. We thank her for her immeasurable impact on the Maggie’s Centre mission and community.
Helen’s passion and dedication for her work are recognised by all who know her. Over the last 13 years, she has served as the heart of Maggie’s Centre, leading the team’s efforts and selflessly devoting her time to care for Centre users, walking with them through their cancer journey.
Throughout Helen’s career dedicated to social good, she has witnessed countless individuals and families overcoming the challenges of living with and through cancer. We are grateful for the compassion she has brought to all the critical moments our Centre users experienced with us. She has genuinely embodied and deepened the mission of Maggie’s during her time with us!
