[Press Release] Dr. Leong Che-hung elected as new Chairman of the Board of Governors of Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centre Foundation Limited

[Hong Kong – 1 April 2018] Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centre Foundation Limited today announced that Dr. Leong Che-hung, GBM, GBS, OBE, JP, has been elected as Chairman of the Board of Governors. He replaces Ms. Kathryn Greenberg who remains in the Board.

The new Board, constituted on 1 April 2018, consists of Dr. Leong Che-hung, GBM, GBS, OBE, JP, Ms. Kathryn Greenberg, Ms. Susan Ho, Ms. Lily Jencks, Mr. Adrian Lee, Ms. Laura Lee, Mrs. Eleanor Ling, SBS, OBE, JP, Mrs. Anne Wang Liu, Ms. Audry Ai Morrow, Mr. James Robinson, Ms. Shahilla Shariff, and Ms. Nancy Tse, JP.

A private medical practitioner, Dr. Leong represented the Medical Functional Constituency as a Legislative Councillor for over a decade and served in many public organisations. He was formerly the Chairman of the Hospital Authority; a non-official member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong; Chairman of the Elderly Commission of the Government of Hong Kong, just to name a few. Dr. Leong is currently the Chairman of Standard Working Hours Committee and the Chairman / President of several non-profit organisations.
