Vietnamese Rice Paper Pancake

Ingredients: (serve for 2)

  • 120g minced pork
  • 1 tablespoon basil, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon spring onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 pieces Vietnamese rice paper
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • 1 tablespoon crushed peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon sakura shrimp
  • tomato sauce


  1. Stir the minced pork, basil and spring onion with fish sauce and sugar, marinade for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the pork and set aside.
  3. Place the rice paper on the pan and use slow heat. Spread some whisked egg on the rice paper. Place some pork, peanuts and sakura shrimp on one side. Fold the rice paper.
  4. Add some tomato sauce on top. Ready to serve.
