Helen Hikes for Maggie's

In addition to commemorating the third anniversary of the permanent Centre this March, Helen is celebrating her birthday as well as seven years as Centre Head of Maggie’s. For these years, she has helped and witnessed people live with, through and beyond cancer, and shared countless memories with the community.

Helen loves hiking. She has left her footprints on many mountains in Hong Kong but somehow never successfully ascended Pak Sin Leng despite trying twice in her teenage years. Understanding that her chronic knee problem is only getting worse, she hopes to give one last shot and finally conquer the mountain with your support in March.

To her, mountain hiking always has more to offer than just health benefits; it is the lesson that has kept her going through peaks and valleys in life.
